Paper Doll Collaberation 2018 March Now and Then/Then and Now

OMG totally spaced posting this yesterday! It's been a crazy week for me.
Alright this months theme was "Now and Then" so taking a vintage outfit and making it modern and taking a modern outfit and making it vintage in sorts is how I interpreted it..  For the first outfit I used a fashion plate for inspiration here  and made a casual every day version inspired by the details.  For the second dress I took a casual every day outfit here and created a vintage dress inspired by the fabric and patterns.  The lines on the bottom of the dress are supposed to be the stitched detail of the jeans.  Added some shoes and hats.  The hats, I have no idea if they will actually fit.

Easter 2018 Black And White

For this Easter, I created a rag doll bunny paper doll.  She has lots of dresses and outfits.  21 in total, including a ballerina tutu.  She has 7 pairs of shoes, 2 bows, and 2 flowers for her head.  This was inspired by a rag doll I used to own when  I was a kid.   I image some of the outfits as being home made dresses and some more like doll outfits you'd buy in the store.  This is the black and white version that can be colored.  I'll post a color version in a few days.  I may even do two variations, if I have time.  Have a Happy Easter!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

I know it's early!  But I will be pretty busy this weekend and next week as well.  Here is a paper doll to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.  She is supposed to be a leprechaun.  I actually based her somewhat on a drawing for my DND character gnome Fizzlepop "Poppy" Peppertree.  I was hoping to do curly hair but I just couldn't get it too look how I wanted. She has 6 outfits, all with various shades of green, 1 wig and one extra pair of shoes and a pot of gold.  The bottom outfit two inspired by Irish step dancing costumes and the traditional male leprechaun suit. I also included the page in black and white for those who want to color it.

Paper Dolls

I almost feel as this is missing a page, since most magazine paper dolls are two pages. However, I only have this one page.  It's a paper doll by Gerry Hizer that reminds me of a little doll.  She has 2 dresses, two stocking/leggings, and three hats (another reason I'm unsure it's complete).  This one is dated August 1994 and is from Doll World magazine.

Muny Opera Dressograph Ilse Marvenga

This is a photocopy of the orignal newspaper sheet, which is why it's a bit more yellow in color.  It features the opera star Ilse Marvenga and her costumes from the following operas: Kathie from "the Student Prince" which is the peasant dress and wig, and the other two are from Marietta in "Naughty Marietta".  I really like her blue outfit that the base is wearing as well!  This one is dated July 9, 1933 and was published in the St. Louis Post Dispatch
